2025 was an amazing year for Iris and Poppy Travel Studio! We celebrated one year as an LLC. We planned amazing trips around the world. We took amazing trips around the world. And we got to see each other in person so many times despite living in different states! We feel truly grateful for the opportunities and wonderful clients that this year brought to us. For our final blog of the year, we want to share a re-cap of the year with you. Maybe this is more of a sentimental post for our own sake, but we hope that as you read our highlights of the year that you'll be inspired to reach out and let us start planning your trips for 2026!
Where You've Been
The United States-Yes, we love planning domestic travel! Even if you're only driving two hours for a weekend getaway, we're happy to be involved! We can get you that hotel at a better rate! Or maybe we can get you an upgrade! We can find the hidden gems and provide some hot tips on exploring the neighborhood. That way all you have to do is get in the car and go. This year, we got to explore our country through your eyes--New York City, the Blueridge Mountains, the Florida Coast, the California Coast, Yosemite, Iowa, Las Vegas--and we loved every minute!
Costa Rica-This was our first big trip! We sent a wonderful family on a grand tour of the Costa Rican jungle. They enjoyed zip lining, night hikes, horseback riding on the beach, and relaxing in the hot springs.
Portugal-A solo trip to eat and drink your way through Portugal? Yes, please!
The UK-If you have to travel to the UK for a wedding, you might as well stay a while! After a wedding with friends, one couple left the Nottingham Forest and toured Belfast, Dublin, Wales, and London!
Mexico-A girls trip to Mexico was a blast! Even in the rain!
Where You're Going

We're already planning trips for 2026 and look forward to getting many more in the books!
Japan-A family ski trip turns into a solo adventure. We're adding on relaxing onsen soaks, peaceful nature hikes, and plenty of tea and ramen tastings!
Morocco-March is a great time to visit Morocco! We've secured traditional riads, a cooking class, relaxing spa treatments, and an over night stay in the Agafay Desert complete with a camel ride at sunset.
Alaska-Two couples are off to explore the wilderness of Alaska by boat, train, and road!
Where We've Been

We enjoyed plenty of travel ourselves this year! Together, we camped on the bank of Arizona's Lake Powel and hiked the slot canyons, we celebrated Iris & Poppy's birthday in Las Vegas, we enjoyed a professional photo shoot in Colorado, and ended the year in Mexico with friends.
We're building partnerships with hotels and travel partners all over the world and especially enjoyed exclusive tours of The Bellagio in Las Vegas and The Populus Hotel in Denver.
Laura spent a lot of time traveling around Colorado and getting to know her new state. She especially enjoys all of the little mountain towns! And since Wyoming is not that far, it has become a favorite spot for skiing. Quick getaways to Tennessee and Texas to visit family turned into mini vacations with coffee shop hopping in Knoxville and exploring the Bishop Arts District in Dallas. Her big trip this year was a 6th visit to Belgium and spending her birthday in Gent-one of her favorite cities in the world.
Neli made a point to travel as frequently as possible! She also took many opportunities to explore her home state including a weekend in Sacramento, and plenty of camping and hiking in Arroyo Secco, Lake Berryessa, Pinnacles National Park, Yosemite National Park (including hiking Half Dome! Read about her trip in our previous blog!), and even a day exploring the tourists' highlights of San Francisco! She visited family in Charlotte and Colorado. Neli was drawn to the ocean this year with two trips to Cabo and a week spent enjoying the emerald blue waters of Tahiti.
What's Next?

We've got plenty planned for 2026, but our most exciting adventure is our spring retreat in Southern California! Rewild & Reconnect: A Retreat for Reclaiming Rhythm & Radiance. We partnered with Andrea and Sarah from Aetheria Movement to bring you daily yoga, live music (an exciting new addition!), healthy meals, and an exclusive winery experience! We'd be so happy for you to join us! Head to the Retreat tab on our website to reserve your spot now! Spots are limited!
Thank you!
Thank you for all of your support! We are so grateful for each of you and look forward to working with you more in 2026!
