Overview
Iris and Poppy Travel Studio and Aetheria Movement invites you to a rejuvenating 4-day, 3-night retreat in Murrieta, CA. Immerse yourself in daily yoga sessions, savor exquisite local wines and delicious cuisine, and find space for healing, connection, and community among like-minded souls. Our goal is to offer a heart-centered space for people to pause, move, breathe, and re-align during a seasonal shift—grounding into their purpose, vitality, and community. This retreat is not about escape—it’s about intentional return. A return to self, to joy, and to the power of shared presence.

Why should you come?
Community-first: This isn’t just a solo yoga getaway—it’s a gathering of like-hearted humans who value joy, belonging, and authenticity.
Accessible + real: Andrea and Sarah lead with compassion and clarity—offering powerful, non-performative practices that meet people where they are, physically and emotionally.
Spring-aligned: It’s timed with the changing season—a potent threshold of renewal. This retreat invites people to plant intentional seeds for the season ahead, supported by the rhythms of nature.
Whole-person experience: From energizing flows to grounding meditation, from sweaty fun to soulful reflection, this retreat honors the full spectrum of being.
Culturally aware, emotionally attuned: Andrea and Sarah hold space with inclusivity, trauma-awareness, and joyful presence. This isn’t about aesthetic yoga—it’s about awakening from within.

Andrea Cameron
J.D., RYT-500, CPT
Andrea Cameron, J.D., RYT-500, CPT founded Aetheria Movement in 2021 after a lifetime of moving that started with classical dance training at age three. When she stopped dancing regularly in her mid-20’s, her movement passion went towards fitness and various yoga asana styles. What started as a pandemic answer to moving online has continued - Andrea is an avid traveler and currently a digital nomad. Anyplace can be your yoga studio or gym - taking movement with you is her approach these days. Andrea has a passion for connected and intuitive movement, music (a good playlist can make all the difference in a workout!), and community. Andrea loves learning and is often enrolled in a continuing education course to build her yoga and fitness knowledge base, practices, and teaching/training skills. In addition to being a Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise and a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (Yoga Alliance), Andrea holds these movement qualifications: Group Fitness Certification with ACE, TRX Qualification, 20 hr Classical Yin Yoga certification, 16 hr Restorative Yoga: Making Rest Practices Accessible certification, 40 hr Therapeutic Yoga certification, 21 hr Accessible Yoga for Older Adults certification. She is currently enrolled in Accessible Yoga’s workshop series Trauma & Yoga Series: Exploring Power, Privilege & Healing. When Andrea is not teaching classes or training clients, you’ll find her working out, running, hiking, taking a Zumba class, walking her dog, Apollo or cooking and traveling with her husband. She loves a conversation and is inspired by people’s stories - from podcasts, to books, to poetry and Substack newsletters, she is an avid consumer of the spoken and written word. Outside of this, her work in the world involves supporting nonprofits and small businesses and she is currently in a UPEACE Centre for Executive Education Program for Social Innovation. Connect with her on LinkedIn and IG to learn more. Find Aetheria Movement on IG and LinkedIn.

Sarah Lee
Ph.D., RYT-500, CMMT
Sarah Lee, Ph.D., RYT-500, CMMT, Aetheria Movement Lead Instructor, is a San Francisco Bay Area based teacher and practitioner. For Sarah, mindful movement, yoga and meditation have been a huge support for everything else she endeavors in life, from playing classical violin and competitive tennis in high school & college, to studying for her Ph.D. and in her current career in academia. Sarah’s teaching style is very intentional, yet playful. She focuses on alignment and using the breath as a guide. Sarah will definitely challenge you in the physical asana so that you can get out of your head and focus on the present moment. She also challenges practitioners to be kinder to themselves and have a nonjudgmental attitude towards their practice – sometimes that is the hardest part! In addition to being a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher (training with Jack Kornfeld and Tara Brach) and 500 hr Registered Yoga Teacher (Yoga Alliance), Sarah holds these movement qualifications: modern Reformer Pilates certification (XCORE), certified barre (Pure Barre) instructor, and 50 hr Rocket Yoga training. Sarah is so honored to be part of the Aetheria team, as she played a role in the creation process with Andrea as she crafted and visualized her dream.

Getting There
The retreat center is located in the Santa Rosa Plateau in S. California in an area called La Cresta- northwest of Murrieta & Temecula. Part of what makes this a great location is remoteness without being far from services. There are 5 major airports within 90 miles of the center. Here they are in distance order:
-
ONT (Ontario/LA/San Bernardino) 51 miles
-
SBD (San Bernardino Airport) 53 miles
-
SNA (John Wayne/ Orange County Airport) 62 miles
-
SAN (San Diego Airport) 74 miles
-
LAX (Los Angeles Airport) 88 miles
People come to this space from all over the world. Look for direct flights from where you are coming. The easiest travel time/most direct route is from ONT (Ontario) about 50 minutes. ONT has direct flights from 26 cities. SAN (San Diego) is the largest/most direct flights airport with the easiest road travel time, 65-80 minutes. Although LAX likely has the most air travel options, it is by far the most challenging due to unpredictable traffic.
